Pragati public school a pioneering institution in south Rourkela situated in the vicinity of Rourkela Steel Plant. Pragati public School is affiliatedto Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi. The school started as a Nursery School in 1971 in its own building to cater to the needs of the residents of the Township and its periphery. Since then its strength has risen to more than 900 students. Today it runs classes from Nursery to Class – X. The school is situated in a lush green environment with adequate infrastructure in best of its class.
